About the Pub

Small but stunning medieval drinking hall with beamed timber roof and lots of character, including an odd collection of stuffed animals, above a bottled beer shop in the centre of York. Offering 3 ever changing real ales, two real ciders, and a wide range of keg and bottled beers from around the world and tasty food. Bottles from the shop can be drunk on the premises for a small corkage fee. Can get very busy at the weekend.
