About the Pub
The White Lion is a traditional inn dating from 1712. Originally separate rooms, the cosy bar,with an stone-flagged floor and open fireplace, has been opened out but there is always a quiet corner to be found. There is an elegant restaurant and a large beer garden. The pub is set back from the B3081 with parking opposite as well as in the car park. Either Thatcher's Original or Rich's Cider is served on the hand pump.
