But please be aware that opening hours and services may be different to those displayed here. Before visiting or ordering from any venue, we strongly advise you to check its website or social media, or get in touch with them first to avoid disappointment.
If you see any details here that need updating, please let us know by submitting feedback on the pub.

About the Pub
Attractive, grade 2 listed building with some parts dating back 500 years. Also has a good reputation for food. Said to be one of the oldest surviving buildings in Brandon. It does not have conventional foundations but "floats" on a raft of slate! From the back of the building it is easy to see various phases in the growth of this old building as new sections have been added through the years. Also to the rear of the property is an ancient "protected" tree.
Historic Interest
Former commercial inn. Also listed at Bridge st. In 1673 a Brandon maltster by the name of William Brewster (of The Limes) called a meeting at the Ram Inn. At this meeting he put a scheme into operation that would eventually see the sum of £1600 raised to build a Victorian National School. A report in the Ipswich Journal** on 28 Sep in 1842 states that : Mrs WEST, of the Ram Inn, Brandon, is declining business & all her Household Furniture, 14 Feather beds..Brewing Plant for 7 Coombs, 13 Tons of Hay, a Mare, 2 Cows & 30 loads of excellent manure, will be Auctioned.
