NOTICE: Venues need your support more than ever during the ongoing coronavirus crisis.

Under this stage of the roadmap in England pubs can only open outdoor areas and many will only be open for customers who have pre-booked. Alcohol can now also be sold for takeaway, as well as delivery.

But please be aware that opening hours and services may be different to those displayed here. Before visiting or ordering from any venue, we strongly advise you to check its website or social media, or get in touch with them first to avoid disappointment.

If you see any details here that need updating, please let us know by submitting feedback on the pub.

About the Pub

Grade 2 listed building with bar and bistro downstairs and a large, period function room upstairs. Gradual reopening started under new ownership in December 2017 with tastefully decorated George's Bistro; the wine bar with real ale opened in November 2018. The new owners have invested heavily in revitalising this fine building and excellent beer garden. Food times shown are for meals in the Bistro; freshly baked pizzas are available in the bar.
