About the Pub

Former club with fascinating colonial memorabilia offering a cosy retreat with sofas around the fire. A Royal British Legion memorial is in the prize-winning garden and local charities are well supported. The spacious conservatory serves for functions and meetings. Guests are from a range of brewers and sometimes include a dark ale. Good quality and value meals are served Thursday to Saturday plus Sunday lunch. Quiz Wednesday. Mirfield station is one mile away. Opening times vary so ring ahead, especially on quiet evenings.
