About the Pub

Grade II listed building with original sash windows. A short walk or bus ride from the city centre, the pub comprises three charming rooms with cosy fireplaces replete with classic adverts. Pie, sausage and cheese-tasting festivals are held annually and there is occasional live entertainment. To the rear is a courtyard and beer garden. The renowned tree in the Gents is still growing despite being trimmed. One locally brewed beer, four from the Greene King portfolio, and a varying cider are on sale.
