About the Pub

CLOSED permanently by Market Halls. Others of their sites remain open. Previous description follows.

This is one of the new wave of "food halls & bar" opening recently across London. The Grade II listed Fulham Broadway old tube station entrance a few yards west of the current entrance, has been sympathetically restored and transformed into an imposing food court, with the bar in the Edwardian ticket office. There are nine food operators including "local favourites and street food stars". The communal dining area has a capacity of 180. There are six British craft beers on keg draught plus a range of bottles and cans; the intention is to rotate the beers from top UK breweries. Cornish brewer Harbour has created the house lager ‘Market Helles.’

Note that the licence does not permit sale of alcohol before 10am. There may also be restrictions in place on days when Chelsea Football Club play at home or have a Victory Parade.

There are sister sites at Victoria Station and in the old BHS store just off Oxford Street.

Historic Interest

Grade II listed, Historic England ref 1358569. The site was featured in the 1978 Ian Dury song "What a Waste".
