NOTICE: Venues need your support more than ever during the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
A nationwide lockdown is currently in place in England, and you are required by law to stay at home. Hospitality venues can still provide food takeaway and delivery services, but can only sell alcohol by delivery service.
But please be aware that opening hours and services may be different to those displayed here. Before visiting or ordering from any venue, we strongly advise you to check its website or social media, or get in touch with them first to avoid disappointment.
If you see any details here that need updating, please let us know by submitting feedback on the pub.

About the Pub
This refurbished premises re-opened with a new layout at the end of March 2015 as a café bar and grill with real ale available from the separate bar. Seating is in the bar and in a refurbished courtyard and garden to the rear. The new lessees previously owned another pub in Beccles and have an excellent reputation for food and service. The restaurant and open-plan grill and food preparation area is at the rear of the pub and is accessed via the bar with private dining available upstairs.
Historic Interest
Also listed at New Market place. A report in the Ipswich Journal on 06 July 1842 states "On 1st July, 1842, died, in her 32nd year, Harriet, wife of Mr NOBBS, of the White Horse Inn, Beccles" The original pub is thought to date from the 17th century. Photographs of this pub and more historical information about it can be found at suffolkcamra.co.uk/pubs/pub/50
