NOTICE: Venues need your support more than ever during the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
A nationwide lockdown is currently in place in England, and you are required by law to stay at home. Hospitality venues can still provide food takeaway and delivery services, but can only sell alcohol by delivery service.
But please be aware that opening hours and services may be different to those displayed here. Before visiting or ordering from any venue, we strongly advise you to check its website or social media, or get in touch with them first to avoid disappointment.
If you see any details here that need updating, please let us know by submitting feedback on the pub.
Updates
Takeaway menu seems to still be available (free delivery for orders over £20 in Halesworth & Holton), see the pub's website for details.

About the Pub
Friendly privately owned ex-Lacons free house and restaurant on outskirts of town, which has been under new ownership since July 2015. A popular carvery is served each Sunday lunch. On the walls can be found memorabilia of Zemke's Wolfpack (a US fighter pilot based at RAF Halesworth during WWII). As of July 2019 a campsite is available at the rear of the pub with hard standing touring caravan pitches and some grass camping pitches.
Historic Interest
A report in the Ipswich Journal in Jul 1880 states that: Died on the 3rd Mary Ann Howlett, aged 80, for 30 years landlady of the Triple Plea Inn. Originally licensed only as a beerhouse, the Triple Plea got a full license on February 21st 1946. The license was transferred from the Eye Crown. In the Dec 1984 edition of Last Orders (local CAMRA magazine) it was reported that the pub name relates to a tale of a lawyer, a parson & a doctor gathered around a dying man. The lawyer pleas for the man's money, the parson for his soul & the doctor for his body. Behind the scene is the devil armed with his trident (or pitch-fork) patiently waiting for the result of the debate as he intends to collect whatever the result (and probably find a use for the fork!). This story may be found depicted in a picture inside the pub. Photographs of this pub and more historical information about it can be found at suffolkcamra.co.uk/pubs/pub/368
