NOTICE: Venues need your support more than ever during the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
A nationwide lockdown is currently in place in England, and you are required by law to stay at home. Hospitality venues can still provide food takeaway and delivery services, but can only sell alcohol by delivery service.
But please be aware that opening hours and services may be different to those displayed here. Before visiting or ordering from any venue, we strongly advise you to check its website or social media, or get in touch with them first to avoid disappointment.
If you see any details here that need updating, please let us know by submitting feedback on the pub.
Updates
A takeaway menu is available on Wednesdays, Fridays & Saturdays. Delivery (including beer) is available. See the pub's website for menus.
The pub will reopen as soon as outdoors service is permitted.

Historic Interest
Former Commercial hotel & Posting house. A report in the Ipswich Journal in Feb 1810 states that: An announcement was made of the death on 5th February 1810, at Halesworth, the much respected, in his 58th year of his age, Mr John Wade, many years master of the Angel Inn there. In 1830 the "Shannon" coach left alternately from the Angel & Three Tuns every day at 5am to London (via Yoxford, Saxmundham, Wickham Market, Woodbridge & Ipswich). Also the "Eclipse" coach left alternately from the Angel & Three Tuns every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday at half past six to Norwich (and every Saturday morning at half past five). Also the "Times" coach left the Angel every Saturday at half past five to Norwich (both go thro' Bungay). A report in the Ipswich Journal on 02 May 1857 states that: Mr William ATMER, the proprietor of the Angel Hotel, Halesworth, has engaged an extensive farm & wholly retires from the public business. The hotel will be auctioned. In 1888 Oakes was providing a carrier service to Craftfield from the hotel daily. The building dates from the 16th century, with 17th & 19th century alterations.
