About the Pub
This spacious Wetherspoon pub is named after a landowner and legal reformer of the 1800s. It opened in 2009 in a building that was previously a market hall, theatre and bank, the vault of which remains and is used as a seating area. A large mural above the side entrance depicts life in old Barry, with many more pictures of the town inside. the guest beer range has been cut from 3 to 1 in 2017.
