About the Pub

A town centre Wetherspoon pub that is named after the famous illuminated carnival held in Bridgwater every November. There is a large bar area, with another room off to one side. At the rear there is a family area and outside a courtyard garden with a smokers area. It offers a good range of changing Somerset and Devon ales to go with the normal extensive food menu.

Historic Interest

The timber fronted half of the pub (No.39) was built as a house and dates from the early 17th century; it is Grade II Listed. Historic England list UID: 1052299
