About the Pub

A family run country pub in the heart of the village at the foot of the Quantock hills and just a 10 minute walk from the West Somerset Heritage Railway. Dogs and muddy boots are welcome at this family friendly pub. Four local and South West brewery ales on hand pumps and instead of the Cotleigh Tawny you may find Cotleigh 25 and likewise instead of Exmoor Gold you may find Exmoor Ale. Home cooked locally sourced food. The slate floor bar has a cosy log burner fire. A quiz night is held every Wednesday. There is a skittle alley which is available for functions, and a large beer garden at the rear of the pub provides an ideal setting in the summer.
