NOTICE: Venues need your support more than ever during the ongoing coronavirus crisis. At this time, hospitality venues in England are not allowed to open but can operate takeaway and delivery services, providing that any takeaway alcohol is pre-ordered. Details of takeaway and delivery services may appear on this page if we become aware of them.

Before visiting any venue, we strongly advise you to check its website or social media, or get in touch with them first to avoid disappointment.

If you see any details here that need updating, please let us know by submitting feedback on the pub.

Updates

It’s official… Saturday 4th of July!
Absolutely fantastic news that we can open on 4th July. We will definitely be open that day to welcome you all back.

From now until the 4th, our team will be incredibly busy making sure that all the Government guidelines are met so that you and your family are safe and happy when we see you again.

Keep an eye on our Facebook page for further updates. It may not be exactly the same as when we last saw you all but we can promise you is that there will be perfectly chilled drinks, delicious food and welcoming smiles to greet you all.

Over the past three months we have served over 1500 free meals for the over 70’s self-isolating. Our takeaway service was a great success but we are afraid that we will be stopping both from Monday 29th June. This hasn’t been an easy decision but our team have to focus on making The George safe for everyone.

Thank you to everyone that has supported us and helped us, it has been our absolute pleasure serving and working with you. A huge thank you to our amazing delivery volunteers, everyone that has liked and shared ours posts and a special thank you to Wraysbury Village Trust for their generous contribution to the free meals.

We can’t wait to see you all on Saturday!
