About the Pub

Close to Streatham Common Station, this spacious, welcoming, family friendly, community orientated two bar pub, is owned and managed by Parched Pub Co.

The large front bar is comfortably furnished with tables and chairs for drinkers and diners. Sunday lunch roasts are very popular. The airy back bar is open from 9am - 5pm Monday to Saturday as the 'Railway Tea Room' for coffee, cake and brunch. In the evening it can be hired as a function room when it is often used for meetings by local community groups and others. The walled garden is especially popular when the weather is fine.

Cask beers are now exclusively from London brewers with, By The Horns, Cronx, Redemption, Sambrook's and Twickenham Fine Ales often available. These are complemented by a good selection of bottled beers from LocAle brewers. There is a "two for one" offer on selected bottles from 5pm on Thursdays.

The Streatham Brewing Company, a bijou microbrewery which was situated behind the pub is currently ini hiatus as brewers are considering larger premises. Two beers were brewed, a Black IPA called “Cynthia’s Remedy” and a Session IPA called “Samuel’s Tipple”. Both were 4.2% ABV and available in bottles in the pub.

Tuesday is Quiz Night.

Comedy nights on the last Sunday of the month are a popular attraction.
