About the Pub

Named after local boat builder William Wouldhave, co inventor of the self righting lifeboat, this town centre pub is part of the Wetherspoon chain, providing customers with well-priced bar meals and a selection of real ales. Downstairs is a bar with ample seating and tables and upstairs a family-friendly area. Six handpumps serve the the two regular beers and a rotation of guest ales from around the country. The pub hosts bi annual real ale festivals.The public transport interchange is five minutes away.

Public pay car park opposite. (no charge after 6pm)
