About the Pub
This cosy, low ceilinged, timber framed building with simple tiled floors, benches and scrubbed tables, always offers a warm welcome with good ale and food. Cider is usually Old Rosie. The food menu is varied with many options on the chalkboards.
Music sessions can occur on virtually any night of week, with several local folk groups and bands regularly playing here - see the pub's website for the latest details.
Letting accommodation is available for those with time to explore this pleasant rural area. Holds the Cask Marque Award for serving great quality real ale.
The pub has a toilet accessible to disabled customers.
Historic Interest
