NOTICE: Venues need your support more than ever during the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
A nationwide lockdown is currently in place in England, and you are required by law to stay at home. Hospitality venues can still provide food takeaway and delivery services, but can only sell alcohol by delivery service.
But please be aware that opening hours and services may be different to those displayed here. Before visiting or ordering from any venue, we strongly advise you to check its website or social media, or get in touch with them first to avoid disappointment.
If you see any details here that need updating, please let us know by submitting feedback on the pub.

About the Pub
A lively main road pub catering for a youthful clientèle and offering Sky TV and pub games including pool.
Historic Interest
An advert in the The Bury & Norwich Post** on Tue 13 March 1866 lists this pub as part of the sale of Stonham Brewery together with 26 other premises. The 1904 Woodbridge licensing records show that the Bell's license was issued in 1803. My grandfather was a regular visitor to his brother's pub, the Cock & Pie where my grandmother was working as a barmaid for the landord, Harry Cooper. Harry agreed to move her to The Bell as his brother, Albert was tenant there & needed help. Both were recent widow/widower in desperate need of a new husband/wife & they soon married - in 1931. (info from Alan E Cooper). The building dates from the 16th century, with 17th & 20th century alterations. Photographs of this pub and more historical information about it can be found at suffolkcamra.co.uk/pubs/pub/590
