About the Pub
An Elgood's tied house serving up to three of their real ales, and occasionally a guest beer from another brewery. The bar area features a real fire in winter months. Television screens show most sports events, especially football (Sky & BT Sport). Pictures of historic St Ives floods from which the pub takes its name are displayed. There is a dartboard in the main bar area. A riverside garden provides free moorings, idyllic views of the historic St Ives river bridge and Holt Island nature reserve. There is an outdoor bar in summer months (although real ale is in the main bar) when the pub is open all day. Occasional live music often featuring local bands on Fridays and Saturdays. Quiz nights are to be introduced. See the pubs Facebook page for details. There are occasional pop up food events. In winter months opens at 4:30 on weekday afternoons.

History - The building was a bank until 1977 when it was converted to a pub. The pub name refers to the regular floods that occur on the adjoining Great Ouse river. The meadow across the river from the pub is often under water in winter months.
