About the Pub
A Grade II-listed old coaching inn dating from the 16th century, which is easily accessed from the town centre. This is currently a Peel Group hotel, providing accommodation, it also hosts various functions and is licensed for civil wedding ceremonies. The hotel possesses single bar, The Tavern Bar, which enjoys several separate areas, in addition to a spacious hotel courtyard which is ideal for outside eating and drinking. The Tavern bar features three handpumps from Marlow's Rebellion Brewery core range. Food may be either bar snacks or dining from an a la carte menu in George’s Bistro across the passageway from the Tavern Bar.
