About the Pub

Despite its relative isolation in the tiny hamlet of Helwith Bridge, this is a welcoming, thriving, no frills community local where the emphasis is on real ale. The pub has 3 separate rooms, all reached via the flagged main bar area. Close to Pen-y-Ghent, the pub is the starting point of the Three Peaks cycle race. Self-catering accommodation is available in the adjacent bunk-barn.
