NOTICE: Venues need your support more than ever during the ongoing coronavirus crisis.

Under this stage of the roadmap in England pubs can only open outdoor areas and many will only be open for customers who have pre-booked. Alcohol can now also be sold for takeaway, as well as delivery.

But please be aware that opening hours and services may be different to those displayed here. Before visiting or ordering from any venue, we strongly advise you to check its website or social media, or get in touch with them first to avoid disappointment.

If you see any details here that need updating, please let us know by submitting feedback on the pub.

We will be re-opening the bar once again on the 12th of April, but for outside drinkers only till, hopefully, the 17th of May, when we can welcome you back inside.
Our opening hours for the for the time being will be Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday 3pm till 9pm, starting of course from the 12th of April. We won't be taking bookings to start, we may review this depending on how it goes over the first weeks trading. We are striving to make your outside drinking experience as comfortable and safe as possible.

The brewery continues to operate a delivery/takeaway service:
Bag in box and bottled beer from Naylor's brewery delivered within 25 miles of the brewery. Free delivery within 15 miles. Delivery days will be Thursday and Friday. Please place any orders by midnight Wednesday to get it delivered by the weekend.

About the Pub

Five real ales are available at competitive prices, at least 4 being from the Naylor's range. These are served alongside other Naylor's products. In the downstairs bar, the emphasis is on good company, friendly chatter and the appreciation of good beer. In Autumn 2019 a new snug area was added downstairs. There is a community cider pressing, normally in September (but not every year). The brewing equipment can be viewed from the entrance to the bar. The bar also serves as Naylor's Brewery Shop, selling Naylor's bottled beers and other merchandise.

Regular cask ales

This pub serves 2 regular beers.

  • Naylor's Pinnacle Blonde
  • Naylor's Yorkshire Ale

Changing cask ales

This pub serves 3 changing beers.
