Re-opening to the public on July 4th at 12 noon - Expected to participate in 'Eat Out to Help Out' government meal voucher scheme (Mon-Wed in August).
Food and Drinks will be served inside and outside (weather permitting). We will need to take details of all customers and securely keep these details for 21 days; these details must be given upon arrival once seated by a member of staff. There’s numerous hand sanitisers available throughout the building, we ask you to use these on entering the building. As per government guidelines we are not allowed to accept groups of more than 6 people per table and this should not currently be from more than 2 households. For social distancing we have arranged tables to ensure there is 2m distance. We have spent a long time making this right so please don’t move any tables, inside or out! When visiting us you do not need to book (it’s first, come first served), however we are not allowing standing for the time being and are not setting time limits on tables. So please be mindful of others as we only have a certain amount of tables. We will be providing table service only and not allowing customers to order at the bar at any time. Expected to participate in 'Eat Out to Help Out' government meal voucher scheme (Mon-Wed in August).
The following services may alter:
Friday Fish & Chips Supper and Sunday Pizza takeaways 5-7pm. Please order by phone.

About the Pub

Unspoilt, traditional, ivy clad Dales pub-cum-hotel on the village green. Mullioned bay windows front a pub that eschews modern gimmickry and the last significant changes to its pub interior all happened in the 1950s. It was at that time that the small servery was introduced where the beer was served direct from the cask by jug. There are now also two hand pumps with Timothy Taylor Best Bitter (Boltmaker) on permanently and the other offering changing guest beers. Note: you can still have the beer served from the jug! Arncliffe is in a conservation area.
