About the Pub

Re-opened following rebuilding and refurbishment as a Seafood Pub Company venue on 19th May 2017 having been closed following a fire in 2015. Large pub at east end of village comprising a 'tap-room' on the left ('mucky boots and mutts') and a larger, split-level lounge/dining area on the right ('high heels and posh frocks'). The tap-room is more pub-like with bare floorboards, a large fireplace and an attractive real fire in winter. The lounge is more food-oriented. Tables and chairs on the patio amid the well-tended planters and flower pots in front of the pub provide a pleasant outdoor seating area. Light breakfast served Monday to Friday 10.00 to 12.00 noon. Functions catered for.
