Battlefield Brewery

About the Pub

Principally a bottle shop, with an off-licence, bar & on-licence. Very much a work in progress, the building will eventually house a restaurant as well as the brewery & shop. (Until then you may find the toilet facilities for example a little basic). There are plans to improve the landscaping at the front, which has a great view of Haughmond Hill in the distance if you can look beyond the neighbouring Tesco supermarket.

Initially the bar opening hours will be limited to the weekend only, until demand can be gauged properly. Cask ale (usually two from the Battlefield range) is available from midday on Friday & Saturday, the bar will stay open into the evening if the demand is there. However the range of their bottle-conditioned beers will be available at all times and can be consumed on the premises.

Historic Interest

Bar/shop launched in the very same week that the nearby Battle of Shrewsbury took place 613 years previously (21st July 1403).
