About the Pub

Dating from the 16th century, this thriving and friendly traditional village inn has retained many interesting features including exposed beams and a large inglenook fireplace. Good marque erected in the car park offering protection from today's strong winds and sharp showers. Excellent food served at good prices. Lunches are available every day with evening meals on Monday and Friday. Wednesday is Quiz night and there is Bingo on the last Thursday of each month. The upper bar has a darts area. The three guest ales include beers from the SIBA range. The pub recently received an Oakham Brewery accreditation award.
