About the Pub

Genuinely old oak-beamed, ivy-covered pub, situated next to the attractive village church on an ancient road which runs through the village. The beams are festooned with jugs and tankards and there is a fine open fire in winter. Popular with horse riding clubs, classic car societies and vintage motorcycle clubs. Traditional English pub food daily plus homemade pies in the winter. Beautiful large garden with play area for children. High chairs available. Dogs welcome.
