About the Pub

A regular entry in Good Beer Guide located on the Lower High Street, this two-bar pub has retained its traditional charm with a rare fine pewter bar top and flagstone floors. The original oak-beamed ceiling has tankards from past and present customers. In spring and summer enjoy your pint in the secluded, attractive rear garden, and in autumn or winter savour your pint in front of the saloon bar's fire. Traditional home-cooked lunches are served Monday to Saturday.

Historic Interest
