A nationwide lockdown is currently in place in England, and you are required by law to stay at home. Hospitality venues can still provide food takeaway and delivery services, but can only sell alcohol by delivery service.

But please be aware that opening hours and services may be different to those displayed here. Before visiting or ordering from any venue, we strongly advise you to check its website or social media, or get in touch with them first to avoid disappointment.

If you see any details here that need updating, please let us know by submitting feedback on the pub.

About the Pub

Former Greene King pub, at it's best a cosy welcoming local. Sadly towards the end of its existence it acquired a bad reputation and was closed, initially temporarily closed in 2010 following disturbances. It reopened in early 2011 and as part of measures to put the poor reputation behind it, changed its name to the Duke of Clarence.

Sadly, the new name did not achieve its aim and the pub closed permanently in July 2011. Planning permission was later granted to re-develop the site to provide residences and a convenience store. and it was demolished the following year.
