About the Pub

The Anchor & Horseshoes is set well back from the road with ample parking both in front and to the side of the pub. The large single bar is divided into three areas with the TVs and dartboard at the front and a dining area to the rear. Historic pictures of Guildford decorate the walls. Good value pub food is available until 9 Monday to Saturday and roast lunch is served on Sundays. For warmer months there is seating in front of the pub as well as a large garden behind with a barbecue area.

Historic Interest

Building thought to be 17th or early 18th century. Records show use as pub from 1785.
