This pub is permanently closed. - Closed in Sept 2016. Planning permission granted on appeal in Oct 2020 for change of use to residential.

About the Pub

Large detached 1930s road house style former Courage house right on the borders of Plumstead and Welling in a area surrounded by chimney pots. Rare car park in front. Interior fully opened out with lots of open floor space and quite dark with lighting above bar not in use. Caters for an almost exclusively local trade. Pool table. Tapas dishes served all day. Although there are 4 handpumps on the bar - limited real ale range applies and this is only sometimes available on 1 pump.
