About the Pub
A friendly former coaching inn, refitted in August 2015, giving the inside a cleaner brighter look. The large TVs in both bars are a big draw for all sports fans. Outside are new benches and tables, some of which catch the sun well into the afternoon. Some of the outdoor tables are under cover and heated. During big sporting events a TV is installed outside. Wholesome food is served at lunchtimes and evenings (all day at the weekend), with a daily specials board. Prices are up a little since the refit. Sunday is quiz night. Free Wi-Fi is available. The largest part of the pub which can be hired for functions is the very old and attractive 'barn' accessible from the main bar. See pub web-site for pictures.
