We have been busy preparing for our re-opening this weekend and have a few little changes to our usual ways of service to let you know about…
INDOOR DINERS
Please use the Side Door entrance to enter the pub. A member of the team will be on hand to show you table.
Where possible, please book a table tables in advance. This can be done at www.masonsarmsth.co.uk/book. Some tables will be reserved for dining only.
Our table plans have been adjusted to ensure your safety and comfort.
There will be no service available at the bar. A member of the team will be on hand to assist with all orders and payments from your table. Card and Contactless payment are encouraged where possible.
A ‘One Way System’ has been implemented throughout the pub. Please follow the arrows and signage. To exit the building, please use the Front Door.
OUTDOOR DINING AND DRINKING
Outdoor tables will be available on a first come, first serve basis. Please do not move any outdoor furniture.
A maximum of 6 guests allowed in any group outside.
We will be operating table service only outside. A member of the team will be on hand to take your orders and payments.
A member of the team will be required to take a Name and Contact Number for all customers. This information will be securely kept for up to 28 days as per Government Guidelines.
REDUCED MENU
We will be running a reduced menu featuring all our classic dishes. All menus can be viewed at www.masonsarmsth.co.uk/menus and during your visit, you will be provided with a disposable menu for your table
TEAM TRAINING
All members of our team have taken part in a Covid-19 Proactive Action Training Course to ensure you are well looked after throughout your time with us.
CLEANLINESS
We will be continuing to use our strict cleaning schedule and all touch points will regularly sanitised, as well as having hand sanitising stations for our customers throughout the building.

About the Pub
Long standing real ale pub at the edge of the village, standing back from the road to Wentworth and the car park, Reopened in July 2018, following a lengthy period of closure, under new ownership, leaseholder and management. This follows a £430,00 refurbishment and complete relaunch of the pub. Some original features have been retained in a pub that dates from 1878. Old photographs of Thorpe Hesley and Wentworth adorn the walls. Now majoring on food from an extensive chef's menu. There may be up to three real ales on the bar with a selection of craft beers too. A well appointed outside area can seat 100 people and
includes cosy heated sheds for if the weather isn't too great. The garden features benches and tables surrounded by greenery. Note the old William Younger's sign oer the sid eentrance, a throw back to when the pub was owned by the Scottish Brewery. A Tuesday night quiz and occasional live music acts are held.
