NOTICE: Venues need your support more than ever during the ongoing coronavirus crisis.

A nationwide lockdown is currently in place in England, and you are required by law to stay at home. Hospitality venues can still provide food takeaway and delivery services, but can only sell alcohol by delivery service.

But please be aware that opening hours and services may be different to those displayed here. Before visiting or ordering from any venue, we strongly advise you to check its website or social media, or get in touch with them first to avoid disappointment.

If you see any details here that need updating, please let us know by submitting feedback on the pub.

About the Pub

Under new ownership. since October 19, 2019, this well decorated and comfortable pub reopened in February 2019, after a period of closure. There are two distinct areas, one that acts as a tap area and the other as a lounge/dining area. Welcoming to drinkers and diners alike. Often busy and popular on weekend evenings. The changing guest beer may be sourced either locally or further afield and has dropped in price since changing hands. On mondays the real ale is priced at just £2.50 a pint. A few tables front the pub and there is a nice beer garden to the rear, which contains a children's play area. There is a general knowledge quiz on thursday evenings and live music most Saturdays. Since reopening after the virus lockdown it has been selling beers from the new local brewery, Gorilla in nearby Mexborough.
