Notice: Venues need your support more than ever as they recover following the pandemic.

Scotland is in Level 0 meaning that table service is compulsory, there is a midnight curfew, and there is a limit on socialising to groups of 10 people from up to 4 different households. Many pubs will only be open for customers who have pre-booked.

But please be aware that opening hours and services may be different to those displayed here. Before visiting or ordering from any venue, we strongly advise you to check its website or social media, or get in touch with them first to avoid disappointment.

If you see any details here that need updating, please let us know by submitting updates on the pub.

About the Pub

Established in 1901 and identified by CAMRA as having a nationally important historic interior, this is the oldest inn in Paisley. The pub retains many original features including stained-glass windows, three small snugs, a spirit cask gantry and boasts the only original set of spirit cocks left in Scotland. Live sport is regularly shown on large screens in the main bar and also in the snugs. Four changing guest ales from the likes of Kelburn, Jaw, Loch Lomond, Orkney, Stewarts and Strathaven breweries. Renfrewshire CAMRA Pub of The Year for the last two years.
