Under this stage of the roadmap in England pubs can only open outdoor areas and many will only be open for customers who have pre-booked. Alcohol can now also be sold for takeaway, as well as delivery

But please be aware that opening hours and services may be different to those displayed here. Before visiting or ordering from any venue, we strongly advise you to check its website or social media, or get in touch with them first to avoid disappointment.

If you see any details here that need updating, please let us know by submitting feedback on the pub.

Pub planning to reopen on 12th April for outdoor service only, however opening times may differ and pre-booking may be required. Check Facebook page for details.

About the Pub

Large open-plan town centre pub with raised seating area and booths, with 6-10 cask ales. Local histories of Redditch’s manufacturing industries and its involvement in the gunpowder plot adorn the walls, and a large metal horse and rider stands in the centre. Very busy at lunchtimes and at weekends, with a steady flow throughout the day till closing time. Outside, a glass canopy and café-style seating makes for great people watching and a smoking area. Two Tvs at each end of the pub are usually dedicated to news or sports. Real cider always available on handpull.
