Red Oak Taverns

About the Pub

Old-fashioned back-street pub tucked away in the midst of the student campus, near to the city centre, and is easily accessible by public transport. It is frequented by eclectic very varied patrons, from students to elderly locals. There is a pool table available as well as plaited beer glass bands for sale. Quiz nights are held on Mondays, live music on Thursdays and other entertainments as advertised. The house beer, Likely Bitter, is supplemented by four ever-changing guest beers, one of which is always a LocAle-qualified beer, plus several real ciders. Beer festivals are held twice annually. Note the pubs unusual opening hours.
