Premises Status

This club is permanently closed. Closed a long time ago, early 1980s is best guess.

Premises Type

This is a club, which means that the bar may be only open to members.

About the Club

Little on-line information about this. There are files of correspondence about Trade Union Country Club 1981-1985 (Warwick University) and 1982-1989 (National Archives) but these are off-line. There are no planning/listed building consent applications on-line (which would be post 1983). The hall was listed as Grade II on 31/12/1982 but the listing makes no note of its use as this club. All that indicates that the club closed prior to 1983 but date very uncertain.
