Pleased to announce that the pub garden will REOPEN from Monday, 12th April 2021.
Opening times: APRIL - LUNCHTIME ONLY (pub closed evenings)
Tuesday to Saturday pub open 12.00-15.00 (kitchen 12.00-14.00)
Sunday pub open 12.00-16.00 (kitchen 12.00-15.00)

Opening times from Saturday, 1st May - pub will be open in the evenings, weather dependent.
With restrictions easing 17th May and hospitality opening indoors, we will resume normal opening hours and booking system.
Please note the website is not working. Please phone (01444-461227) or email ( the pub for bookings. During April we are not taking bookings and encourage everyone just to come along if the weather is nice as there will be plenty space in the garden.

About the Pub

Dating back to the 16th century and recently enlarged, the focus is on quality home-cooked food at this village pub. The original part of the building has wooden floors and open fireplaces, whilst the more recent conservatory area is mainly used for dining and features a covered and illuminated well in the floor. Dog friendly, but no children under 14.
