About the Pub

Traditional dining country pub in an ivy clad brick building. Situated on the main street of this well-heeled sleepy village. Inside, to the right is a comfortable lounge bar area with a real fire, whilst to the left is a smaller bar linked to the restaurant through an archway. Outside is a huge garden hosting many events in the summer including a beer festival.

Historic Interest

Asset of Community Value nominated by the Nottingham Branch of CAMRA and registered 18th January 2016. The Plough Inn is in Rushcliffe Borough Council's Normanton-on-the-Wolds Conservation Area. Recorded as a public house in 1855 under publican J. Gunn and under Edward Butler in 1876 (Post Office Directories). As at November 2017, the freehold for the Plough Inn (NT347216) was held by Trust Inns Limited [Reg. No. 3011034].
