NOTICE: Venues need your support more than ever during the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
A nationwide lockdown is currently in place in England, and you are required by law to stay at home. Hospitality venues can still provide food takeaway and delivery services, but can only sell alcohol by delivery service.
But please be aware that opening hours and services may be different to those displayed here. Before visiting or ordering from any venue, we strongly advise you to check its website or social media, or get in touch with them first to avoid disappointment.
If you see any details here that need updating, please let us know by submitting feedback on the pub.

About the Pub
Large pub, vaguely resembling an arrow when viewed from above. A small 'clock tower' is situated on the roof above the main entrance. TV screens showing sports dominate the main bar area whilst additional seating is available both in raised levels of the premises and upstairs, with balconies overlooking the ground floor. The large corner bar dispenses several beers, mostly procured via the SIBA scheme, with at least one from a Nottingham-based brewery.
Historic Interest
1998 built public house on the site of an earlier, smaller Home Ales pub of the same name. The previous building was a postwar estate pub with a distinctive sloping roof, perhaps intended to mimic an arrowhead. The old Arrow also had a large guided missile-like arrow perhaps 20ft tall standing vertically near the front door. "The replacement is itself curious and successful, designed externally to resemble a Victorian conservatory set between two rendered houses, and inside it is a large boomerang shaped hall with galleries at either end and a long, continuous bar on the inside wall. It has the very slightly louche, music hall atmosphere that Wetherspoon pubs lack. DC/A/4/12/66/514, Arnold UDC: Plans by Cecil Howitt and Partners for Home Brewery, dated 1 February 1967, show a big roofed building on the corner elevation, the lowest part containing single-storey pub accommodation comprising a near-circular lounge and public bar, with a zigzag separation between the two, rising to two-storey residential accommodation at the north-west end under the highest part of the roof. The structure seemed mainly to be of timber." [Elain Harwood / Historic England]. As at November 2017, the freehold for the Arrow (NT251049) was held by British Land Leisure Limited [Reg. No. 5215386]. [Gedling Borough Council; Ernehale Ward / Nottinghamshire County Council; Arnold South Division / Gedling Parliamentary Constituency].
