NOTICE: Venues need your support more than ever during the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
A nationwide lockdown is currently in place in England, and you are required by law to stay at home. Hospitality venues can still provide food takeaway and delivery services, but can only sell alcohol by delivery service.
But please be aware that opening hours and services may be different to those displayed here. Before visiting or ordering from any venue, we strongly advise you to check its website or social media, or get in touch with them first to avoid disappointment.
If you see any details here that need updating, please let us know by submitting feedback on the pub.

About the Pub
A 60's built pub with a large central bar, part of the Hungry Horse brand. Whilst open plan there are a number of separate areas for diners and drinkers with the area in front of the bar focusing on drinkers. There is a designated area for a pool table and another with two electronic dart boards. Large front garden area with picnic benches which is well illuminated after dark. Sports TV feature in all parts of the pub.
Historic Interest
The Wheelhouse was opened in December 1965 to a design by architects Cecil Howitt and Partners for Home Brewery. This distinctive circular pub has been much altered inside and out. Two-storey residential accommodation at one end and rear. The interior was probably once two bars because of the central door but all that survives is the arched timber ceiling of the curved part, now all opened up, but with built-in seating round fixed tables like a diner and some changes in level and hanging lights. Curved bar also modern. Plans dated February 1963 refer to The Rotunda. 2nd October 1973, internal alterations and disabled entrance 1991. April 1993 two-storey rear extension, single-storey rear extension, porch, internal alterations, play are to front of premises, alterations to car park layout, enclosures, new steps, balustrades. Extension to the East of garage is for bigger beer and bottle store, freezer and chiller so that food preparation can be bigger, with a larger dining area where the old beer cellar used to be. The old lounge is now dedicated to family dining, with a bar and "bar dining" in the old cocktail and house area. The new brick of the rear extension carefully matches the existing. By Morton & Webb for Scottish & Newcastle December 1992 and March 1993 (Elain Harwood / Historic England). [Nottingham City Council; Wollaton West Ward / Nottingham South Parliamentary Constituency]
