About the Pub

A friendly local pub hidden away in one of Norwich's medieval lanes. Was first known as the Duke of York (1772), then the Alma (from 1859) and became the Micawbers Tavern in 1977. It reverted to this name after a 5 year period in the 90's during the 'Oirish' theme bar craze when it was known as Seamus O'Rourkes.

On offer are at least five real ales from local breweries including, Woodfordes, Adnams and Elgoods, regular folk music and singaround sessions, and a quiz night.
