About the Pub

Named after the famous Short Blue fishing fleet (the largest in the world at the time) that moved from Barking to Gorleston in the 19th Century. An ex-Lacons pub, it has an elegant carved wooden bar, a smart modern interior, with a large patio opening onto Marine Parade and the sea front.

Close to the award winning Hippodrome Circus, the pub is an oasis from the fizz of keg on the seafront, serving a range of Grain beers. Barbecues are held during the season, and real cider is available.
