About the Pub

NOTE - due to HS2 and a Compulsory Purchase Order, the Bree will sadly close by the end of january.

This open-plan, one-bar pub, with its gravity cooling system on proud display, can at times have up to 11 gravity beers available, usually including a mild, in addition to the 6 more regular beers, which tend to be LocAles, which are sold from handpump. When busy and in summer the outside seating with the benefit of awnings and heating provides welcome additional space. Food, specialising in pies made on the premises, is served seven days a week 12.00 - 20.45. See their website for special offers. Card carrying CAMRA members can obtain discounts on both the price of a pint (50p off) and on pies (at £2). North London CAMRA's Pub of the Season Spring 2008, overall Branch Pub of the Year 2009/10 and again in 2016; Branch Cider Pub of the Year 2014. Up to 11 ciders are sourced from Weston's (Old Rosie is on pump), Gwynt y Draig, Millwhites and many others. Tap take-overs and beer festivals are held. Final closing time depends upon how busy the pub is but will not be before 23.00 except Sunday.
