About the Pub
Three cask beers available in md Sept 2021. The operators seem to be linked to those operating the King William IV.
The drinking area comprises several distinct spaces around a central bar with a lot of original wood panelling. The social media accounts listed relate to the old operators and it is not clear if they will be taken over by the new operators. There is now a new upstairs seating area.
Historic Interest
Local Listing:- dual aspect on corner with Popham Street. Mottled green tile front up to window level, then plain green tiles up to fascia. Rendered green painted bases to pilasters. Smokey glass on lower 1/2 windows, leaded lattice window.
