About the Pub

Situated in waterfall country in the Brecon Beacons national park, this inn, built around 1600, has served as a coaching house, shop and a B&B before reverting to a pub in the early 1960s. It has a cosy public bar, lounge/restaurant and a large games room. Up to three ales are stocked in winter and up to five plus a cider in summer, when the pub holds a beer festival. Popular with walkers, budget hostel accommodation is available.
