About the Pub

Cob and timber framed thatched inn close to the Devon and Cornwall county border. Once two cottages and then the village post office, it eventually became a pub within which the post office was contained, thereby acquiring its name. Today, although no longer housing the post office, this friendly family-run pub remains at the heart of the community. The regular Muck "n" Straw from Holsworthy is usually joined by two other local guest ales.
