We are excited to announce we are re-opening!
We plan to gradually open up over July, ensuring the safety of customers and our staff at all times.
Our first day of opening to the public will be Wednesday 8th July
Our summer opening hours will remain the same; we will be running as a wet pub for the first week but will be serving from our wood fired pizza menu & interesting bar snacks/salads
Wednesday 8th July 5pm till 10:30pm
Thursday 9th July 5pm till 10:30pm
Friday 10th July 5pm till 10:30pm
Saturday 5pm till 10:30pm
Sunday 12noon till 5pm

In order to protect our customers and staff, until further notice, access to our premises will be restricted to those who have booked in advance and, in accordance with Government guidelines, we will require full contact details on booking as part of the essential “track & trace” precautions. So sorry that does mean, for the time being at least, we cannot allow “walk-ins” as we need to have our premises properly set up for social distancing & sanitizing.

About the Pub
A traditional, friendly village pub, comfortable atmosphere, popular for food, carries 2 West country ales, one always LocAle. Pleasant garden area features wood fired pizza oven and BBQ, reguarly used instead of Sunday lunch during summer. Look at the blackboard for amusing historical events on the same day of the year. Please note that during winter months the pub opens an hour later at 6.00 pm Weds-Sat.
