NOTICE: Venues need your support more than ever during the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
A nationwide lockdown is currently in place in England, and you are required by law to stay at home. Hospitality venues can still provide food takeaway and delivery services, but can only sell alcohol by delivery service.
But please be aware that opening hours and services may be different to those displayed here. Before visiting or ordering from any venue, we strongly advise you to check its website or social media, or get in touch with them first to avoid disappointment.
If you see any details here that need updating, please let us know by submitting feedback on the pub.

About the Pub
Characterful 17th-century riverside inn with accommodation and an authentic Thai Restaurant. Fat Belly ales began here and, although now brewed nearby at Mullacott, they remain a key part of the business. At least three of these are always available, often accompanied by other "specials" from the brewery. A further selection of Craft beers are served through a USA style Craft Beer dispenser. Please check first if visiting in mid-winter, as opening hours and meal times can then vary.
Regular cask ales
This pub serves 3 regular beers.
- Fat Belly Carver Doone (Stout Type brewed on premises. Very well balanced & creamy)
- Fat Belly Guzzler (Also sometimes sold as 'Lyn Valley'. Good session Bitter. 'Ocean Gold' formerly known as 'Crafty')
- Fat Belly Ocean Gold (Golden Ale brewed on premises. Excellent intro to Real Ale.)
Changing cask ales
This pub serves 2 changing beers.
Fat Belly IPA features fairly regularly, along with others from the brewery. Some specials, brewed to real ale standards by Fat Belly but served from kegs are also available. A Lager, called "Real Pilsner 35 EX" is also brewed in the traditional way by Fat Belly.
